Join the fun and register to be a part of Our Hospital Walk/Run on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Participate or volunteer in one of 3 events by walking, running or volunteering for your community, your family and yourself!

Raise pledges in support of your local hospital. Raise $80 in pledges and your race fee is FREE! Funds raised support the purchase of urgently needed medical equipment for the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Ways to get involved

You can walk, run or volunteer in the Family Mile, 5km Walk/Run, or the 6km Trail Run.

Teams can consist of individuals participating by walking or running any distance or volunteers who work during the event.

Raise Pledges – Funds raised support the purchase of urgently needed medical equipment at the NBRHC. Funds stay 100% local.

Course Descriptions:

6 km Trail Run sponsored by Canor Construction

This route is for experienced trail runners only! Trail consists of roots, rocks and mud. Over more than 100m of elevation for your running enjoyment. During times with heavy rainfall, sections of the route will be extremely muddy and wet.  Ankle deep mud and standing/running water will be encountered. Runners will experience a variety of terrain, from hard packed trails, to roots and rocks, to mud and water.  Although the race course will be cleared of most fallen debris, please take special care and caution when climbing and descending.

Participant Award:
Every one crossing the finish line will be given a Participant Award.

Timing Information:
ChampionChip® is a miniature transponder in a specially designed plastic housing. This device contains a chip in combination with an energizing coil. These elements are encased in a waterproof glass capsule, meaning the ChampionChip® can be used under all conditions (wet, dry, cold and hot).

The ChampionChip® can be worn in different ways. For running races, the ChampionChip® is attached to the runner/walker’s shoelace.
